Making a decision to leave our home of over 30 years was hard to do. We went back and forth with the decision for a bit. We contracted with a friend in real estate—wrong thing to do. From this experience we learned that friends and business do not mix. As hard as it was to make a change we learned about Paul and listed our home with him. Paul understood our dilemma and acted as a sounding board offering great advice as we moved along in the home selling/buying experience. His honesty and straight forward approach as he worked with us through this process helped us to reach decisions which at times were hard to make. He was our sounding board during the rough times. After selling our home we leased an apartment for a little over a year to see how downsizing would affect us—could we live in smaller quarters, would we be comfortable or would we tear each other’s hair out. For us this was a great suggestion from Paul and it brought us to our next step of trying to find a condo which fit our needs. Paul did a lot of the legwork for us—when we found developments which we were interested in, Paul went to the Manager of the complex and looked at the financials, maintenance, fees, etc. We sat with Paul to review the documentation he provided. Once we found a condo we liked he assisted us with the negotiation process then the closing. With Paul the closing is not your last contact with him. For Paul selling real estate is not just a sale but is a way of life. As his client we do not hesitate to refer others to him because with Paul it is not just about the sale—it is about making you happy. You are making a lifelong investment and Paul wants you to be comfortable with your choice and him as a friend and agent. Thank you, Paul, for providing help and guidance to us during this life changing event. Downsizing was right for us
